Meet the Doctors
Dr. Nicholas Koehler
Dr. Nicholas Koehler is an anesthesiologist in Tampa, Florida and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital-Tampa and Largo Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and has been in practice between 11-20 years. He is one of 13 doctors at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital-Tampa and one of 28 at Largo Medical Center who specialize in Anesthesiology.
Dr. Koehler joins the team at Tampa Bay Orthopedic and Spine Group to help with improving symptoms and decreasing pain from injuries during car accidents and slip and falls.
Dr. Charles Davis
Charles W. Davis, MD is a fellowship trained spine surgeon, specializing the the treatment of disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He is committed to a patient-centered and conservative approach to spinal pathology. Dr. Davis earned an undergraduate degree in chemistry with honors. He was awarded his Medical Degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine.
After medical school he completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. While in residency he gained extensive experience in the treatment of traumatic spinal disorders at Shock Trauma and pediatric spinal deformity at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Dr. Davis continued his training at the Spine and Scoliosis Center under the direction of Paul McAfee, MD, one of the nation's premier spine surgeons. Dr. Davis is trained in all aspects of Adult and Pediatric Spine Surgery as well as all areas of Orthopedics.
